Photo Magic overview
Photo Magic at /app/modify is the editing suite. Six tools cover the most common post-production tasks. Every edit is non-destructive: the original is preserved, edits stack as versions.
The toolset#
- Remove Background (1 credit). Strip the background. Returns a transparent PNG.
- Replace Background (6 credits). Drop your subject into a new scene.
- Erase (3 credits). Remove unwanted elements with a brush.
- Extend (6 credits). Outpaint beyond the original frame to fit a new aspect.
- Upscale (10 or 20 credits). Increase resolution to 16MP or 24MP.
- Image-to-Video. Turns a still into a clip (handled by Video Studio).
Two more tools you find from generation results#
- Model Swap (7 credits). Replace the product in any image with one from your Brand Library. Available from any image detail view.
- Advanced Edit (10 credits). Full inpaint canvas with AI guidance. Available from the image detail view.
Non-destructive#
Edits never overwrite the original. Each edit creates a new version on top. You can branch from any version, compare two versions, or revert.
Tip: Cheap tools first. Try Remove Background + Replace Background before reaching for Advanced Edit. The simple chain often produces a better result for fewer credits.
