Roles explained
Four roles cover every team setup. Pick the lowest role that lets the person do their job.
The four roles#
- Owner. Full control, including billing and workspace deletion. One per workspace.
- Admin. Manage members and trained models. Cannot change billing.
- Editor. Generate, edit, save, share boards.
- Viewer. Browse and download. Cannot generate or edit.
Changing a role#
Owners and admins can change roles from the Members list. The change is immediate. Demoting an admin to editor mid-task is fine; their in-progress work is preserved.
Tip: Stakeholders who only need to review work should be Viewer, not Editor. Cleaner audit trail and no accidental edits.
